Oxford University Press Joins the Coalition for Responsible Sharing

Oxford University Press (OUP) today joins the Coalition for Responsible Sharing, increasing the total number of Coalition partners to 14.

The Coalition for Responsible Sharing aims to prevent the illicit hosting of millions of subscription articles on the commercial ResearchGate site and offer alternative, sustainable solutions to help the research community share their published material online in useful, appropriate and seamless ways.

The Coalition of information analytics businesses, publishers and societies has more than doubled since it was formed in October 2017 and now includes the American Chemical Society, the American Medical Association, the American Physiological Society, BMJ, Brill, Elsevier, Future Science Group, IEEE, IWA Publishing, OUP, Portland Press (wholly-owned by the Biochemical Society), Wiley, Wolters Kluwer, and World Scientific Publishing.
